Can a 19 year old have IBS?

I am 19 and been doing a little research myself. But for the past year just about. Almost Everytime I eat, right after I have to go to the bath room. Also most of the time it is diarrhea. I've done some research and it sounds like irritable bowel syndrome. Does this seem right? And what should I do to help?

My daughter Michelle, 30, has a disease that doctors can not figure out. Three years ago, Feb. 2008, she began feeling dizzy, continuaully got UTIs, then she was cold all the time, then she began stumbling. Doctors here in Marshfield, WI, first thought MS, then ALS, and sent Michelle to Madison. Drs there ruled out both those and by now, she was also having spasms in her legs and arms. This was Jan. 2009. She had to quit work because she was so exhausted from her muscles spasms all day long. She couldn't remember the drive home. She progressed to using a cane in early 2009 and then a walker by late summer '09. She has had numerous MRIs, CAT scans, spinal taps, blood/urine tests, all coming back 'normal.' She began using a wheelchair 2010. At home she can still move with her walker; in public, her chair. Jan. 2011 we went to Mayo at Rochester, MN. Drs there also came up with no answers. Four months ago she was fitted with braces for her ankles. The back muscles of the ankles were becoming very tight, causing her feet to droop and turn inward when sitting. March 12, this year, she began having full-fledged seizures, second one 3 wks later and now on meds for that. Tests at 3 different facilities showed no signs that she had any seizures either time. I would just like to know if anyone out there can help, at least a diagnosis, and maybe an answer to some needed treatments. PLEASE help if you can. I truly look forward to hearing from you. To me, it sounds like she was just taking a nap. I have two guinea pigs, the mother and the daughter. I let them out everyday when I get in from school and they go straight onto the grass, eat a bit, and then hide under their huts for a nice long nap and then eat again. My dog just bit me for the first time, please help?

I have a 3year old female toy poodle and she bit me today for the first time she wont let me carry her or anything and she has never done that to me, She usually is very sweet with me and my dad only, so he biting me is very strange because im the one she trusts the most and is always friendly with me she only listens to me as well therefore her not letting me carry her is very unusual i dont know what to do? she doesnt listen to me when i call her or anything, i noticed she looks kind of sad though. Our dog has antagonized the obnoxious people next door for months. They are fed up and so are we, because she jumps the fence and we cannot keep her in the kennel very long (trainers directions). If they are so cruel, why do pet stores sell them? Yes. There is no excuse for it. Anyone who harms and abuses something smaller and weaker than them is a bully, and should be severely dealt with. Ok here's the deal. Last year almost to this very day I met this really beautiful Puerto Rican chick. About 3 or so weeks into this vacation she pretty much told me that she didn't have feelings like that for me anymore and that I wasn't missed. I was frustrated, angry, and very heartbroken; but I got by and met someone and we've been trying to start something special. But here just a few days ago the ex has arrived back in North Carolina. She has contacted me and we've spoken. The PR vacation only made her feel worse. Learning to ride a horse for a city dweller?

I am very interested in horseback riding and have some experience. I live on the outskirts of Portland with many stables nearby and several offer lessons for $20-60 an hour. My question is this: Once I have learned basic to intermediate skills will many stables let you pay a fee to ride one of theire horses for an hour or two without lessons or do you have to board your own horse to do that? My parakeet's leg is bleeding? Help ASAP?

Recently my parakeet's had an egg hatch. Today, the baby has fledged. The mother was trying to get the baby back in the cage for some reason. And she was trying to drag the baby bird in. The dad was trying to protect the baby. While trying to protect the baby, the dad was bit by the mother. Now, his leg is bleeding. I have separated the baby from the parents because the baby was causing the conflict. I do not want to separate the father right now because it causes him to stir and make him bleed even more. Schooling show- play it safe with Walk/Trot classes or try a canter class?

I think that if your willing to experiment a bit, go for it! If you can, the day before the show go to the barn where the show is going to be and ride him in the ring/arena that they have there and ride with some other people. The only way you can really find out how he will behave is to play with it a little bit! Also, if he prefers trail rides so much he hopefully will be fine adapting to a new environment on the day of the show. I think its worth a shot, and even if it doesn't go the way that you plan its a learning experience and then you will have a better idea of what to expect from your horse next time, or what you might want to do differently. Why wont my period go away?

ok so i usually have really heavy periods every month that are very painful not so painful that i cant walk but painful enough that i just crunch up in a ball with a heating pad if i were to take a bath with it it would literally be "blood bath" every now and then i get a light month and more then a breath of fresh air but its a pattern i make my calender to keep track the day it starts the day it ends. it goes like this: first 3 days heavy and painful next 2 significantly lighter not so painful but annoyingly painful off and on all day 5th day really light and is usually gone by the time i go to sleep or leaves sometime during the night. but as of the last 3 months its been so different 1 month heavy painful and all that jazz next month light not so painful next heavy ect but this month is by far the wierdest of the the 3 cuz it started out so light and no pain at all! i accepted it with open arms and thought of it as a catching a break that was on a sunday on tuesday it got a little heaver but not much still no pain thursday it got really heavy like it usually is but still wasnt painful so i was still grateful friday and sat it was light again then it got heavy sunday and monday and today tuesday i have to change every hr which i havent had to do for a while but i usually only have my period for 5-6 days never 10+days and i still dont have any pain! not that im complaining but my mom had cervical cancer and uteran cancer at age 19 im 17 she says she bled for 6 months straight so when i tell her whats goin on she just says its happened to her and its nothing but im worried this never happened before im not on birth control and i've never had sex i dont have a gyno doc at all and my reg doc is convinced that she knows best and whenever i ask for something she says "your young it has to be this way" so can anyone tell me whats goin on?

My take on it is simply that it's not necessary, so why do it? I know cavemen ate meat, that's because they had to. But humanity has moved on a lot since then. Guinea Keets got into some strayfoam, will grit help?

What 3d rendering/ game engine should I use?

I started out (and am currently working on) blender, since it has both a good 3d rendering engine and a good built in game engine. However, I heard that crystal space is fairly powerful and may perhaps be a better choice for a game engine, and ogre may be a better option as far as graphics go. But crystal space is a game engine and ogre is a 3d rendering engine, where blender is both. I know due to an active project (called blender2crystal) that it wont be that hard to export models, animations etc from blender to crystal space if i want, but what I'm wondering is that is it also feasible to make content in ogre and to export it to crystal space? or to the blender game engine since it seems easier to use? Also, I know that ogre has a lot of add-ons such as the bullet physics engine. Would these add-ons serve in lieu of a full-fledged game engine? Or is blender good enough graphics-wise(compared to ogre) and has a powerful enough game engine(compared to crystal space) for me to not bother with crystal space or ogre?

But she refused. She is refusing to do that. I dont understand that when i am willing to withdraw the petition and accept her back into my home provided she accepts the terms of consent before the court of justice why has my wife filed a petition before the supreme court and now bargaining to withdraw my divorce petition in exchange for withdrawing her petition. What harm can be done to my case if she goes ahead with her whatever she has filed with the Supreme Court? I dont understand her strategy.

What college course should I take to help in becoming a grocery store department manager?

I currently work in the meat department at a Loblaws and I'm interested in turning it into a full-fledged career by working my way up to department manager (not store manager or anything). What single college course would be best for helping me get up there faster? I'd prefer the type of course to not go over 2 years though; 1 year would be best. I've taken a look into accounting and office administrating and human resource management but really have no clue where to begin. Many thanks in advance!

My Macbook Pro's mouse pad will not move in some places?

It all started when I got a very bad sunburn, so I took a tea bath to lower the pain. While I was in the tea bath I was watching the apple conference and i wanted to see the demos after the screen had gone black. I touched the pad to wake it up a few times. Now, my had was wet from the tea and i got a few drops on it. Now my mouse will stop moving mid stroke and will spaze out when I'm not. My questions are: Is that why my mouse pad won't move? If so do I need to buy a completely new macbook to fix it or can I buy parts?

These birds need to be fed with a dropper. I am not sure what the formula is. The best advice I can give you is to call animal control in your city or the dog warden. They will have the telephone numbers of people who rehabilitate wild life. They will tell you what to do. but it's Sunday so that probably can't be done until tomorrow . if you have a dropper mix some water and sugar which will give the bird enough nourishment to keep it alive till you call someone. Dont be shy about calling-- this is what they do - save wildlife. Think about what you have in the house... Probably a dropper somewhere. Just thought of something... Use google search and seArch with the words ' feed baby birds'. Should be info. I really hope the bird survives . Good luck

Would you consider this animal cruelty? What should I do about it?

A relative of mine has an adult Maltese. He was fine while he was a puppy. He was very playful like a puppy should be but then she bought one of those big cage things and started keeping him in that cage all day and all night downstairs in this room where her husband did nothing but smoke cigarettes and drink beer. She did feed him everyday but bathed him when SHE felt like it. So you could smell him when you walk in the front door. And she hardly let him outside to get any exercise. I tried to take him off of her hands when she moved into another house but it didn't work out because he had behavioral issues from being poorly socialized so I gave him back because I didn't know how to handle a poorly socialized adult dog and I couldn't find any information on how :(. He only saw 2 people, my relative and her son. And now it's the same thing in her new house. Locked in the cage, in a baking hot garage, with his droppings on his feet, barking day and night, getting on everyone's nerves lol. Only she or her son can do anything about it because he either runs away, bites, or bark at anyone else and yet, they ignore him. So what should I do? I can't take him back since my mother said I can't have a dog now. -__-

My sons father is taking me to court for SOLE CUSTODY!!?

I am 22 years old (full time mother) to a 2 and half year old beautiful boy. I am on welfare and have a nice apartment (not housing) and I also get support from my mother she has been buying me groceries for 2 and half years since my sons father refuses to pay child support. My sons father is 23 years old and has A lot of money, he has a lawyer and I don't and HE FILED COURT ON ME! We both have shared custody since we are both on the birth certificate. I am a stay at home mom, I have been taking care of my child and so has he but he started paying me $198 a month for about 5 months because my social worker demanded it. in October my sons father put my son in daycare Without My Consent!!! and stopped paying me child support all of a sudden!! I went to my social worker and they gave me a paper to show me how much he owes me in child support including the times hes missed and including INTEREST! My sons father makes me have him on the weekends now but I personally think he is doing this because his girlfirend (That he has cheated on me with when I was 7 and half months pregnant) Keeps telling him to take me to court and get SOLE custody and the court papers say he wants me to have supervised visits as if I'm some crack head or something (I DO NOT DO DRUGS) I am a good mother and take care of my son better then my sons father (his sisters and his girlfirned take care of my son and pick him up from day care since my sons father works 9-5 Job) when my son is with me he gets my FULL attention I am a young single beautiful mother and live on my own and make sure there is breakfast lunch and dinner on the table for my son at all times, I bath him at all times he is with me and take him with me everywhere i go when he is with me. I have court on Thursday at 11AM (June 30th) he lied and said i have no food in my fridge, and says my house is always dirty (I had the police investigate my house and said they have never seen a place so clean and nice since i keep my place well kept and they seen i had food in the fridge!) He says my hallway stinks of marijuana (witch is true) but only because my neighbors are pot heads and they are getting evicted they are moving next month my landlord found out they are selling drugs in the building so she evicted them! CLEARY my sons father is doing everything he can to lie on me just to win, wont it show he is trying to take my child from me because he clearly does not want to pay child support and he says he is takin me to court because I have no MONEY!!! Obviously not I only get enough to pay my rent and my mother provides the groceries since he refusees to pay child support but instead Pays the daycare teacher 800 DOLLARS a month! to do my job !! The only thing I am bringing with me is my witness's and my mother (my second sons father should I say) and the paper stating how much CHILD SUPPORT he owes me. My sons father filed for court BEHIND MY BACK but he gave me the court papers LATE (he filed for court MAY 12 2011, AND GAVE ME THE COURT PAPERS ON MAY 31st!) and kept saying he is not going to take me to court if we have a decent custody agreement HENCE why I do not have a LAWYER!!! But I don't believe I need one I am a good mother and I will be honest with the job! Who will be in the court room with us will it just be me and my sons father? or are we allowed to bring our own people? You should take it to the nearest vet, pet store, or animal hospital around. They'll be able to take care of it. If there is not one close, you should check how it's doing every fifteen minutes or so, if it's struggling then you should amp up some medical care

I am a single dad of 2 kids! 1 boy 1 girl. I was wondering if I should intro duce her to her first shower for a time saver! and if I was to do that because she is clumbsy should i shower with her to prevent her from slipping and falling and cracking a skull!! Hello, I am going to MEPS on thursday for the United States Army. I went a couple of months ago and didn't make my abdominal tape, I was REALLY close. I have lost about 30lbs since, and about 3 inches on my abdomen. I know all of the tricks, bath salts, prep-h, diuretics. Anything else that might help me? I was taped by my recruiter last week at 37" and I need to be under 38". I stick to a healthy diet and workout via Crossfit. I think I'll be fine but I'm just concerned about failing. When my son was born he was born with a birthmark that starts at his ankle and finishes on his bum cheek.. I was told it's Mongolian blue spot.. It's a reddish purple most of time a reddish colour and I've seen pictures of Mongolian blue spot an they are a bluish colour.. His birthmarks gets more purple when he gets warm or gets a warm bath.. All animals are potentially approvable including Homo sapiens sapiens; however, the nature of the experiment and the reason of the experiment are going to be scrutinized. Doing science for the sake of science will get even an earthworm study revoked. Doing anything with medical or life improvement potential goes over well. Good experimental design and a sound hypothesis will determine what is not approved after that it goes in ethics (benefit of study vs harm or discomfort to organism etc etc)

Excessive scratching help!?

I was born with eczema and it has always been present on my life however for the past few years it jas gotten to the point where I will scratch and itch constantly. I can't sleep well because of it and I always have hives and painful scratch marks. I don't use scented anything and often take oatmeal baths. When I go to the dr it is always the same thing. A series of prednisone that clears it up for a week then it comes right back. Please help me. What can I do to stop being so uncomfortable? Is this really eczema or something else? In August, I will be vegetarian for 5 years. Throughout those 5 years, I've gotten more strict on animal rights. I started dating my current boyfriend 2 1/2 years ago. Cruelty at a Pet Store?

I went to look at the baby leos as I always do (they are super cute) at a pet store at my local mall. I was horrified. They were super small3-4 inches and all of them were missing their tails. In addition to the missing tails, they seemed to have abrasions an their heads and faces. Some had damaged eyes. None of them were acting "normal" they weren't moving at all. I felt so bad. I need a psychological diagnosis of this girl lol. Like she is just weird, she is 14 years old about to go to high school, all she does is stay on the laptop 24/7 and i mean literally. A lot of cooking shows mention mushrooms as the vegetarian answer to meat. They usually use portobello mushrooms roughly chopped in place of meat. Basically, I have a dog who is kind of old. I love her, but I am trying to decide if I should give her to my little brother to care of or keep her and risk our new apartment be peed in and smelled up. I also have a 1 year old to raise. 7 weeks and feeling like I'm going to pass out?

I am 7w1d pregnant. I have a feeling that something isn't going like it should be. I've been running a constant feveer of about 100.5, no matter what medicines I take to break it. I feel like I'm getting the flu as well. My head is stuffy, I can't breathe out of my nose, and I've been going from extremely hot to shivering in a second. I have also been having horrible cramps in my lower stomach and a catch in my back. These cramps are WAY worse than my normal period cramps, but there hasn't been any bleeding. Last night, I took a warm bath and was only in there about ten or fifteen minutes. I got out because my head started to spin and my eyes were starting to go black. I walked to the kitchen and couldn't feel the floor under my feet, or my legs up to my knees. I had a temp of 100.8. After this, I felt really weak and sick to my stomach, so I sat down. When this didn't help, I laid down on the couch for a minute to rest. I was sweating heavily, but it felt like cold sweat. Maybe because I was burning up so much? I don't know. I continued to lay there and breathe heavily for a few minutes. Is this normal or should this be something I'm worried about?

I just got through with watching horrible animal cruelty videos. I hate everyone of these rotten people and wish them dead. I already hated people before but it seems I have a deeper hate. People annoy me so much I come home from school screaming. And it's getting worse, little things like slow people walking in front of me at school tick me off no end. I thought it was only because I was just not a people's person, but I literally want to kill them now. I just watched the video of some freak throwing puppies into a river... that makes me want to rip her head off. People tell me if I start having so much hate now I'll wind up a murderer. I found a baby robin, what do I do?

Yesterday, my dad found a baby robin on the floor under its nest (the nest is about 20 feet above the ground). He grabbed a ladder and put it back in its nest. Then, earlier today, he found it again, lying on the same spot. He had some bird poop under him. He put it in a little basket and had a bunch of Kleenex in it so it would be warm and comfortable. We have been feeding it worms and we have a eye dropper thing for water. Will it survive? It's nest is in our back yard. It has some feathers but still bald spots. We found one of its siblings on the floor, dead, and we didn't want this one to die. The mother kept kicking out this baby robin so we decided to keep it. Will it just take off when its ready to fly? I would hate to see it take off just like that. Or will it just fly around, look for food and come back? You tell me. Is what were doing good enough? Could it survive? We found the dead sibling 5 days ago and it was just newborn. So this one we just found a week old or something? When will it learn to fly? When will it be fledged? Sorry I wrote so much I just really need to know and things haven't shown up quite correct when I asked what I should do.

Menstruation question?

My girlfriend has been on the pill for about 5 months now and has yet to have her period on the "sugar" pill week. We recently were having sex without a condom and I was getting ready to climax and she wouldn't lift up and I went inside her. She kept going until she climaxed. The farmers are now very angry because they are not allowed to export cattle and loose a lot of money and their jobs, thanks to the australian government. And there is no easy solution, such as the government thinks as they seem uninformed about the situation. And think about it, if we don't export the market brakes down as these countries won't import already produced and way more expensive goods. The animals just live to be killed, they are a good in our society, your society. If you might want to stay where you are just tell your current bosses about the offer and tell them you love working for them and would rather stay but the exta money/benefits would be nice. You could just be quiet after saying this and see what they say (or if you think they would not be offended ask if there is any way they could do something - like letting you keep the tips or adding some kind of benefits). I have worked on commission before and would not do it again. You never know what your paycheck will be from week to week and sometimes it sounds lot better on paper than it will be in real life). I smoked a legal herb, and went to hell.?

Last night sometime after midnight, I smoked a legal plant. I can't remember what it was called, but it had the word "stars" it its name. I've been trying to find it online but it's eluded me so far. Okay, so I'm going to describe the experience. Nothing about this experience was pleasant. First of all, I am familiar with meditation and know how to regulate meditative breathing. I took two really large hits of this herb, thinking it wouldn't be very hard. I was wrong. Within about 1 minute, I started feeling really dizzy and I remember saying, "This feels exactly like when I am about to have a blackout." Then, everything started drastically altering down hill. I was sitting on the floor in a lotus position, and suddenly my entire being was vibrating violently. It was the most horrid sensation of my life, and it lasted, in severity, about 45 minutes to an hour of nonstop hell. Luckily, my wife was there and she was completely sober. She cradled me and held me and it comforted me a lot, but the sensation was no less agonizing. I remember almost everything. I full fledge weeped in her arms a couple of times, and at one point I was repeating the words, "This is terrible, this is terrible; I'm in hell, oh my god, oh my god..." etc. I don't even believe in God and I started praying, "God please help me." Here's a strange sensation that was overpowering: every thing in existence and every thing I felt was mentally represented in my head by shapes. Each sensation had a shape and pattern to it. The act of swallowing, the feeling of holding on to my wife. It was represented in the center of my consciousness by a unique shape. After about 25 minutes or so, I vomited into my wife's lap. It wasn't the last time. I puked about 3 or 4 more times. My wife kept me hydrated with water and at some point I was fed pieces of bread. All of this helped ever so slightly. After about 40 minutes, I started falling asleep. They laid me down where I was and helped me remain comfortable. I fell asleep and woke up on the floor after maybe an hour and was finally slightly lucid. I was able to look at my wife and speak. She helped me get up and take a shower with her, then we went to bed. As I was falling asleep in bed, the effects began to come back and I fearfully clung to my wife for comfort. She was able to coax me back to sleep and now it's 7:43 AM and I still feel a very unpleasant "edginess" over my whole being. I will never try this herb ever again.
