What could be my wife's divorce game plan?

I filed for divorce from my wife on grounds of cruelty and mental harrassment and for the custody of my daughter after my wife left along with my 18 months young daughter to stay with her parents and did not return till 2 months . On the first day of court-hearing itself, my wife filed a letter in the court seeking inter-state transfer of the case to her native place and stated that the case is pending in the supreme court on grounds of desertion by husband and seeking of maintenance. At the same time and on the same day, she met me out of the court and said that she is willing to withdraw the above referred whatever she filed in the supreme court provided I withdraw my divorce application to which i refused. I told her that I am willing to withdraw the divorce petition provided she submitted before the court that she is willing for a compromise and would agree to the terms of consent as presented before the court. But she refused. She is refusing to do that. At the same time she is asking me to come and take away my daughter if i love her so much but she is not willing to write any letter to me regarding such invitation. I dont understand that when i am willing to withdraw the petition and accept her back into my home provided she accepts the terms of consent before the court of justice why has my wife filed a petition before the supreme court and now bargaining to withdraw my divorce petition in exchange for withdrawing her petition. What harm can be done to my case if she goes ahead with her whatever she has filed with the Supreme Court? I dont understand her strategy.
