If i have a pending felony can i still have possesion of a gun?

Caught up with hash and accepted drug court..if I fail any drug tests they'd hammer me with the full fledged felony but for a year and 6 months it'll be pending... what's the word snurr? I live in the ghetto and I never leave the house without my hammer..
