Would you be willing to give up the use of a vehicle for a year in order to protest against the oil company’s?

I truly admire your optimism. The world needs more people like you, a lot more. Unfortunately the world is filled with cynical, nasty people like me. The sacrifices, actions I take are all on a personal level. I believe I can influence the world only as far as my arms can reach. I have a cat, dog rescue facility here -- because it pleases me -- not because it will change the world. Giving up a vehicle for a year? That would keep me at home for a year but oil companies would not notice.
