Roadway to being a doctor?

I have very recently graduated with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. Although I have excellent academic credentials in Electrical Engineering, I am becoming more and more interested in pursuing a career in medicine. I have gone though the prereqs of Medical Colleges and I beleive I should be able to complete them in one academic year along with two summers. Could someone please tell me how long does it take to complete Med school and how much it costs? Then what is required after that to become a fully-fledged physician?
