Puppy is too young to be away from mother. help?!?

get a heating pad set on low and put stuffed animals around the puppy in a small kennel. get some puppy formula and a baby bottle with a nipple. poke some holes in the nipple. feed the puppy every 2-3 hours day and night. at around 3 weeks of age you can start introducing water and moist puppy food as well as the regular formula feedings. you are going to have to get up every 2-3 hours every night until the puppy is completely weaned off the formula. at about 5 weeks you can go a little longer before feeding the formula and you can give less. about every 5-6 hours inbetween formula feedings. at 7 weeks old you can go every 6-7 hours inbetween. at 8 weeks up to 10 weeks you can have the puppy eating more solid food and drinking water and less formula. by 8 weeks old the pup won't need to be fed any formula or solid food at night and only once or twice during the day and it should be a very minimal amount (about an ounce) unless you want to have just solid food and no formula which is fine. at 8 weeks of age and up you won't need the heating pad at all but leaving the stuffed animals is a good idea for company since the puppy has no littermates. other than that you can ask your vet what they advise you to do as well. good luck with your new puppy.
