Animal Abuse, my class is so pathetic!?

Ok, were doing a project on what we hate the most, and im doing animal abuse and animal testing, but the thing is, my class is so CHILDISH, they laugh if an animal gets hurt,(not all of them, the childish boys) and i need some information to say, "if you think animal cruelty is funny then you................" something like "then you have a phycological problem which can lead to.......?"
